What is an Active Member?
An Active Member is a member who has accumulated 40 points during each semester.
Why is it important to be an Active Member?
In order to run for an officer position, continue to hold an officer position, put Student Council on a job or college application, purchase a graduation stole, or be otherwise recognized as a Student Council member for scholarship/organization/letter-jacket purposes, members MUST be considered active.
Do outside service hours count for StuCo points?
Our point system is intended to keep track of member activity within Student Council. For this reason, we only recognize hours and donations submitted for StuCo sponsored events.
Are there any other rules I should know about?
Yes as a club, we have a formal constitution that goes over all rules and regulations. You can access it here
